Wow, It's Been a While

So like my title say it has been a long while since I have posted. Partially because of not having much to say or a bit of being busy. However, the main reason is, I lost my log in information and had a dickens of a time finding it again.

So let's catch up. I am now 21 years old and weigh more than I care for. So I have tried the South Beach Diet to loose weight and feel more confident about myself and also to fit in a Maid Of Honor dress. Which I will explain more later on. The South Beach Diet is a good start to help cut out cravings for sugary food and help you get on a right track for diabetes. There is a lot of health issues with in the family. So, for my to be healthy and live a long happy life, I have to be on healthy diet. My wonderful boyfriend has been very supportive to me when I am dieting. His main concern was if the diet was a healthy one. Which it is, since it was approved by a real living doctor.

As for the Maid Of Honor dress, my sister is getting married in September. I have already planned the bridal shower. The Bachelorette party will be coming up in a couple weeks. I know traditionally the bride is not suppose to know the details concerning this, but with the tight time line, she needed to know. We are planning on doing dinner, Karaoke, and then possible the bar.

Another thing that is coming up shortly is, a visit with my Best Friend, Christine which is very long overdue. We haven't seen each other for over 1 year at least. *Miss You Wifey* <--- I know to most of you this would seem weird, but its her and my name for each other. Anywho, we have planned on visiting with each other at the end of the month. Which, I am looking forward to this the most.

I will try to let you all know how my two occasions went.

Getting Distracted Over the Months.....

So I would like to start off with the fact that I haven't posted in a very long time. My life got a little busy with different things so I didn't have time to post.

My sister bought a new house, and since I am still not financially stable enough to live on my own, I will be still living with her. I am not proud of living with my sister, don't get me wrong, I love her to pieces but I am a little ashamed and embarrassed that I still live with her. Any who, we are moving this Saturday and I am mostly packed with a few minor things. However, Becky and Louis (Sister and her Fiance), still haven't packed much. They are repainting the rooms in the house and haven't seemed to pack anything really. I understand they are busy with that however, isn't it more important to have everything ready to go when you move, and do fix ups later. They will have the house for a long time since they won't be having kids.

I would really like to be able to get a full time position at a department type store. It would allow me to be able to pay off my debt much faster and allow me to have a get away weekend that I always dream of. I would love to go to Toronto and see the sites and go shopping for the weekend. I haven't seen much of Toronto and have always wanted to go up the CN Tower.

As a completely different mental thought, I realized that us (women) will be willing to sit through our guy watching their favourite movie, TV show, or them playing video games. But they are very absent when we want to watch our favourite movie, or TV show. Why is that? For those who read, please give me your opinion on that. I am intrigued to find out the answers.

For me to get to my work I have to ride a half hour bus ride. Which in most cases is fine with me. However, the past few times I have been travelling to or from work, I have encountered some people I rather not have.

My first encounter was with this older man which I believe was Russian or Romanian. I am not sure his ethnicity, but I had to focus on what he was saying to understand. He talked to me for the 30 minutes I was on the bus. He first talked to me about the superstore flyer and than on to, religion, books, family. In those topics, he discussed a lot things. I noticed at forest glen, so 15 minutes in my bus ride that he had a beer can hidden in his winter hat. I am the kind of person who doesn't like to be rude, well especially to older people. Every time he paused or stopped talking, I tried to read my book again. However, he interrupted me every time. He started trying to stroke my hair, and I kept backing away from him. The next time he tried to do it I got up early for my bus stop. This encounter creeped me the heck out. I wouldn't have minded talking to him if I knew him. But he was a complete stranger trying to stroke my hair.

My second encounter was with a man about 30 I think. I was about 5 minutes away from my stop near where I live. It had been a long day and I was reading my book, so I was leaning forward to the seat in front of me. This guy decided to sit in front of me, so I sat back in my seat. When the man finished his conversation on his cell, he told me "That he was sorry to disturb me", I told him it was fine and went back to reading my book. He then decided to ask me "What are you reading?", so I told him the forgotten realms, its fantasy. Then he asked me if I wanted to get a beer and I told him no. I got off at my bus stop and was waiting for the bus to drive away so I could cross the street. The doors were still open and this guy asked again, if I wanted to come back to his place and get a beer. Again I replied "No, Thanks.", at this time he got off the bus, and again asked if I wanted to come back to his place and get a beer. Again I replied "No, Thanks.", at this time I walked briskly away. As I approached to building door, I noticed across the street the guy trying to figure out where he was on the street. I think he lived a lot farther down the street. It makes me happy knowing he had to walk home or wait for an hour for a bus. I know sounds mean but I was shaking when I got into my apartment.

After those two encounters I am now reading a book, listening to music, with my head down, and sitting in seats where its difficult for people to interact with me.

A Long Day of Work....

Since it has been almost a week since I last blog, I figured I would catch everyone up. I worked Thursday till Sunday and had some interesting things happen in those few days. I will be splitting the events into to separate blogs since I am a high believer in separate my thoughts, or at least attempting it.

As I said earlier I was working Thursday till Sunday. Those days are quite busy in restaurant business. So we constantly run out of things. Which poses two options, one we have none made or we have none in the store. In most cases we have none made for example on Saturday we ran out of 8 different types of items. They were ramekins of coleslaw, large coleslaw's, flip Greek salad, flip garden salads, spinach chicken salad, burger toppings, chopped tomatoes and green onion. In the other case where we have none at moment is usually chicken. Depending on the demand of white or dark, it varies each night. Which brings me to the most common question at my work, "How can you ran out of chicken?". So I will answer this question. Our chicken spits takes at least 2 hours to cook. We put a spit in every 15 minutes, which equals 4 or 5 birds every 15 minutes. We estimate how busy each night will be, and we try to balance the demand and the product. Sometimes it does not balance well.

So the next time you are waiting for your meal keep in mind the people in the restaurant are trying their best to get you your food.

A day with me thinking......

So today, I had the day off and woke up quite late. My injury from last night at work is still killing me. Hopefully my foot will heal up soon though so I won't limp everywhere, lol.

I learned today that I have a few goals for myself to achieve for the future. I would like to lose some weight, pay off debt, and find the career I want to be in.

As for my goals for the next month, I would like to start going to Dooly's to play pool on a regular basis. I have not been to Dooly's in ages now it seems. I love how you get lost in the atmosphere of Dooly's. It's very true to their logo "Good friends, good times.". I use to go to it on a regular basis last summer. But now I rarely ever go.

I also would like to reconnect with my girls and possibly go out for a girls night out preferably to Rev. I have always really wanted to go to Rev and I find that most people that I know don't want to go to it. Those that have went say its overrated, its just a club with expensive drinks. I have seen pictures of Rev and its probably overrated. However, it looks so pretty in the pictures and it seems classy to me anyways. I have never been a person who goes to the bars or clubs regularly so I haven't seen many places.

I realize that many people probably will never read this, and to be honest I wouldn't blame them. Ha, come on it's just me typing on about things going on in my life or my mind. So, here's to the next time I go on and on about something.

To the first blog and trying to continue blogging.....

Since I created this blog and have yet to publish a post. I actually forgot that I had this to be honest. I believe most people that I know personally would not like to hear my thoughts or my rants about work. I thought it would be a great idea to try to start and continue to write on my blog.

For anyone who may read my blog it may not be very interesting or logical. It will include anything thing from work related, to personal endeavours, to personal relationships, to rants.
